Whether in combination with a hike, a bike tour or using the well-developed public bus network, exciting day trips can be planned! Many attractive destinations are not far from our rail track. Others can be perfectly combined with a short hike. With the leisure buses you can also reach exciting highlights in the wider area from Engeln station - always with a connection to the "Vulkan-Expreß", of course. Not every destination is equally suitable for a visit on all our operating days. The respective recommendation indicates when the destination fits particularly well with our timetable. Destinations connected by leisure bus

The Vulkanpark leisure bus (line 322) connects our Engeln train station every hour on the weekend and usually every two hours during the week to many excursion destinations. In combination with other lines, e.g. the double-decker leisure bus 399, you can reach almost any destination in the area.
